Who we are
SnackNotes is a personal project made by an individual in California, USA. These terms cover snacknotes.com and the free web toys published there, such as the pumpkin carver. By using the site or the toys, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, please use them with a parent, guardian, or teacher.
Using the toys
The toys are free for personal, family, and classroom use. Please use them kindly: don't try to break them, overload them, copy them wholesale, or use them to harm or harass anyone. We may change, pause, or retire a toy at any time.
What you make is yours
Anything you draw, carve, or write in a toy belongs to you. The toys keep your creations in your own browser, and we claim no rights to them. See the Privacy Policy for the little we do collect.
Real-world making
Some toys print stencils or suggest projects that involve knives, scissors, heat, or other real tools. Safety first! Cutting and other grown-up steps should be done by an adult or with adult supervision. You are responsible for staying safe while you make things.
As is
The toys and the site are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise they will always work, be free of errors, or stay available, and we don't promise that what you make in your browser will be kept.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SnackNotes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, lost profits, or injuries arising from your use of the site or the toys. Since the toys are free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to fifty US dollars.
Our stuff
The SnackNotes name, logo, drawings, designs, and code are ours. The fonts and open-source libraries the toys use belong to their authors, under their own licenses. Please don't copy the site or pass it off as yours.
Where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and both of us agree to that venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date, and using the site or the toys after that means you accept them.
